Hello CSpire

Posted November 7th, 2011 in Apple News, iPhone

Many of us have never heard of this little company before. Now it is time. Last week the big announcement came. No, it has nothing to do with T-Mobile. Check out the magic number 11.11.11. The date they are getting iPhone 4S and they will be the fourth carrier to have the iphone in the US.

T-Mobile is left out and we don’t know how long they will survive. They are really having their fingers crossed to get gobbled up by AT&T.

The apple website has the following:

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. New iPhone coming this Fall

Posted July 7th, 2011 in Apple News, iPhone

It is becoming more and more clear, that there may be a new iPhone after all, this fall. Wall Street Journal has this report speculating the new iPhone release coming Fall. One key feature that everyone seem to be expecting is the 8-mega-pixel camera.

It is also believed that the new version of the iPhone will be thinner and lighter.

One person familiar with the matter said the new iPhone will operate on Qualcomm Inc.’s wireless chips. Apple’s current iPhone 4 uses chips from a former unit of German chip maker Infineon Technologies AG that is now owned by Intel Corp. in the model available to most operators. It uses Qualcomm chips for a version for U.S. carrier Verizon Wireless.

CNBC Titans Steve Jobs

Posted June 24th, 2011 in Apple News

The show CNBC Titans featured Steve Jobs last night. The following are some of the highlights from the show.

Irrepressible, irascible, and iconic, Steve Jobs has reigned as the undisputed king of Silicon Valley for the better part of three decades. From his parents’ California garage he launched the personal computer revolution and built Apple into the most envied, and valuable, technology company in the world. From the Macintosh and the iPod, to iTunes and the iPhone, Jobs has personally presided over the creation of dozens of transformational devices, battling hostile corporate boards, cutthroat competitors, and serious illness while securing his legacy as one of the few who dared to “Think Different.”
